A very Good Friday

Dad and Agnes were able to visit on Good Friday as part of their Easter Weekend tour of Virginia and Kentucky! Miles & Adele were thrilled. We took the day off from daycare and work and hustled our guests around Virginia Tech's campus, Miles' schools, our home, the Price House Nature Center and the kids' favorite playground.

I didn't think to even turn on my camera until the playground, I was so busy being a tour guide. But we spent about two hours at the playground before having a pre-Good-Friday-service dinner.

So, um, I hope you like pictures of my kids playing with their grandparents!

There they are! Dad & Agnes, road warriors!

Don't let the baby swing fool you. Miles has recently learned to pump his legs. He no longer needs to be pushed on a swing! This is good news for the adults in his life.

We still haven't taken the squirrel ears off his hat. Why would we?

Agnes wanted to see if the gater was as fun as it looked. I think she decided it was.

The kids fell into stride with Dad & Agnes, despite that it's been since November that we last saw them. Miles invited Agnes into his pretending in his room, Adele opened up some and talked to them, and cuddled with both more than she usually cuddles with anyone. Once you're in a kid's world, you're in.

We so appreciated their travel to see our home! Come again, Dad & Agnes!

Family is always in.
